In the Pilot, and throughout the series, 'ziti' becomes synonymous with food itself. However, Karen's last ziti holds a special, almost sacred place in Bobby Bacala's heart, leading to tension when Janice tries to replace it.
A classic baked pasta dish that symbolizes the comfort and complexity of Soprano family dinners. This is the last ziti Karen Baccalieri made before her passing.

Boil ziti in salted water until al dente.

Brown the meat in a skillet with garlic and onions set aside.

In a large bowl, mix ricotta with a ladle of sauce and half the parmesan.
